Iron Monkeys Radio is made up of Jake Burgess, Lloyd Parker and Gareth Phillips. We present a 2 hour radio show every Friday which plays a variety of Rock and Metal, from great rock ballads to 200 mile per hour beatdowns, your favourite rock anthems besides local and international unsigned bands.

I’m Jake I’m 19 and I’m one of the Iron Monkeys. I have listened to a lot of Rock music and within the past 2 years got into the Metal music as well, one of my favourite bands is Alter Bridge , especially their song Metalingus. I also like the Foo Fighters, Tenacious D and loads of others including Motörhead.

My name is Lloyd Parker, I am 18 and one of the members of the Iron Monkey radio I did the art work for the radio page. I like classic metal and some of the new stuff and I’m a big nerd when it comes to games and comics.

Hi, I’m Gareth, I’m 21 and I am one of the Iron Monkeys. Growing up my house was always filled with the soothing sounds of Radio and so it is exciting to have an opportunity to be a presenter on a show. I have a passion for music, especially rock and metal which I have been listening to since I was young. My taste has meandered greatly over the years but now I feel comfortable listening to a wide variety of different styles and genres. My current favourite bands would have to include Black Sabbath, Kyuss and SubRosa but there are many more.
